Open Xchange Innovation (OXI) Framework for Next-Generation API Management
Our OXI Mechanism
APIIDA has condensed the experience from numerous API technology transformations and transferred it into a unique approach that enables our clients to build up their API strategy.

Return-on-APIs (RoA) Analysis
Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) have emerged as a core element of the technological modernization process for many businesses, including most banks and insurers, as they provide the ability to connect systems and data. APIs play a critical role in making IT systems more responsive and adaptable. APIIDA has defined six main issues that companies are facing when it comes to their API strategy.
API Maturity Model Benchmark
The APIIDA OXI model aims to increase the customer’s API maturity level. Business value increases as the maturity level increases, with API monetization starting at the highest maturity level. In addition to the location and target definition, the current mode of API management, the future mode of highly effective API management, and the transition mode of operation are of significant importance. The more precise understanding of the operation of the future mode is, the better and more effective the implementation will be.
The difference APIIDA makes here is that we focus on training and supporting our experts on the client side. Empowering people to support themselves is our guiding principle. The so-called Future Mode of Operation, also called Project Governance, is the essence of project and transformation experience from an enormous number of successful API projects in the environment of international corporate clients. It is an immensely pragmatic and proven approach that has been applied and improved together with leading IT organizations.
APIIDA uses the Center of Excellence model to ensure the best possible project outcome for our clients.
Vendor-Independent & Full Lifecycle API Management Technology
The full API Management Lifecycle covers the entire lifecycle of an API, starting in the planning phase and ending with the decommissioning of an API. It provides a vendor-independent technology platform for digital strategy, ecosystem building, and operating an effective API program.

API Center of Enablement (CoE)
The implementation of value-adding APIs that also support the transformation to new business models according to our maturity model requires a holistic and interdisciplinary approach. Under our leadership, we are building an API Center of Enablement (CoE) with customers and technology partners to achieve the best possible added value.
As the CoE approach entails structural weaknesses, particularly in the area of internal customer communication, we are expanding the CoE to include another component, the Center for Enablement (C4E).
