Broadcom Layer 7
V11 Upgrade
End of January 2023, Broadcom announced the General Availability of Layer7 API Gateway 11 for virtual appliance and container gateways. For hardware appliance gateways, an ISO image shall be made available within six months. At the same time, it was announced that support for release 10.1 will be discontinued, effective June 30, 2024. For release 11, the platform change of virtual appliance gateways from CentOS to Debian requires the so-called Manual Expedited Appliance Upgrade. Further changes with release 11, as outlined in Broadcom’s announcement and release notes, may be particularly relevant for you.
